Barry is a qualified Level 3 coach who has been involved at MSC for 15 years. Qualified to the old ASA Club Coach L3 in 2007 & upgraded this to the UKCC L3 in 2011, Barry became Head Coach at MSC in 2008. Barry was part of the initial Nottinghamshire Talented Coaches programme in 2010 & assisted Mansfield NOVA development coach for 6 years. This wealth of experience has helped produce many National swimmers over the years. Barry's coaching philosophy revolves around treating people with respect, & getting them to positively believe in what they can do as opposed to worrying about what they can't do.
What got you into coaching and why Mansfield Swimming Club. My children were swimming for MSC & I liked to get involved with their activities - I am also a Level 2 Gymnastics Coach as a result.
