Barry Leffler

As Chief Marketing and Enrollment Officer for Medforth Global Healthcare Education, Barry Leffler oversees enterprise-wide marketing, communications, recruitment, and enrollment operations. Barry is a strong operational leader, strategic marketing executive, and brand builder, having transformed health care, media, and marketing organizations in local, national, and international markets throughout his career. From 2014 to 2018, he served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Tenet Healthcare, a Fortune 150 healthcare services company operating hundreds of hospitals, outpatient centers, and physician practices nationwide. At Tenet, he established, led, and built a consumer engagement marketing organization, implementing an evidence-based approach with a focus on creating value for patients and providers and fostering growth. He is recognized as an industry-leading architect of strategy for the development, design, and use of contemporary marketing tools powered by strong CRM technologies, and a digital orientation. Prior to joining Tenet, Barry had extensive communications experience in the media. He was the owner and leader of WCHL, a radio station in Chapel Hill, NC, which became nationally known for its innovative approach to hyper-local digital media. Previously, Barry was with NBC for almost 15 years. He served as President and General Manager of NBC 17 (WNCN-Raleigh) leading the largest expansion of a local television station in the country. His NBC experience also includes an international role at NBC Europe in London where he oversaw marketing, communications, and creative services for two pan-European cable satellite channels.

Dr. Andrew Sussman - CEO

As Chief Executive Officer for Medforth Global Healthcare Education, Dr. Andrew Sussman leads all executive functions, with a focus on expanding educational opportunities, programs, and support for students; forging clinical partnerships with hospital systems; and increasing the reach of Medforth and its educational institutions internationally. Dr. Sussman was most recently Executive Vice President of Clinical Services at CVS Health, the largest pharmacy care provider in the United States. Previously, he led the development and growth of CVS MinuteClinic, the largest walk-in clinic provider in the United States, with more than 1,100 locations. Under his leadership, CVS MinuteClinic established collaborative affiliations with more than 75 major hospital systems across the United States. Before his career at CVS Health, Dr. Sussman was Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer at UMass Memorial Medical Center, the major teaching affiliate of UMass Medical School. He was also an Associate Professor of Medicine at UMass Medical School. Prior to his work at UMass, Dr. Sussman served as Chief Medical Officer of the Brigham and Women's Physicians Organization, consisting of 800 teaching faculty at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital. He began his academic career at Harvard Medical School, as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. Dr. Sussman is a graduate of Harvard College, Harvard Medical School, and Boston University Questrom School of Business. He is an internist and primary care physician.

Peter Laudicina

As the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives, Peter Laudicina is responsible for working with the Medforth Global Healthcare Education leadership team to define, develop, and drive strategic initiatives across the organization. He joined St. George's University (SGU) in 2011, to initiate and run its Office of Governance, Risk, and Compliance. Before joining SGU, Mr. Laudicina had nearly a decade of experience running his own consulting company and working for CA Technologies, one of the largest independent software corporations in the world. Mr. Laudicina worked in many different roles at CA, including as Chief of Staff for the Security Business Unit, Senior Product Manager for multiple information security products, running the international team of project managers, and managing operations for two worldwide information security product lines. Mr. Laudicina earned a BBA with a double major in Computer Information Systems and Operations Management from James Madison University. He earned an MBA with a major in Corporate Finance from Dowling College. He also completed Harvard's Program for Leadership Development (Harvard's alternative to an Executive MBA) and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School.

Sabrina Copp - CIO

As Chief Information Officer for Medforth Global Healthcare Education, Sabrina Copp manages information technology, data storage, and utilization, setting the vision and strategy for Medforth's educational institutions. Sabrina is a highly accomplished IT professional with more than 15 years' experience providing leadership and management to IT teams. She joined Medforth after a 10-year tenure at Strayer University, where she served as its Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Strategy and Delivery. In her roles, she guided the design, development, and implementation of technology that enhanced both the student and employee experience. Sabrina also spent 10 years at Accenture, leading large international teams across Asia, India, Europe, and the US, delivering technological transformation improving operational and employee efficiency and customer satisfaction. Sabrina is a founding member of the Washington D.C. Capital CIO Leadership Association. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Information Technology from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.

Tammy Sala - CHRO

As the Chief Human Resources Officer, Tammy Sala leads all human resources strategies. An experienced and accomplished human resources senior executive, Tammy has led human capital teams at several large, complex companies, most recently as Chief People Officer for eos Products and Chief Human Resources Officer for HMK Holdings. Prior to this, Tammy was Senior Vice President of Human Resources with First Data, a global leader in payment technology and service solutions. There, she was a key HR partner for multiple global business segments and centers of excellence. Prior to First Data, Tammy was the Director of Human Resources for Merrill Lynch, a financial services organization where she was instrumental in managing all aspects of HR for a global division. Tammy holds a Master of Business Administration and Management from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Geneseo.
