Courtney Aldrich

Job Titles:
  • Program Instructor With Michigan State University Extension Child
Courtney is a Program Instructor with Michigan State University Extension Child and Family Development Team. She trains parents and early childhood professionals on topics of child development and learning. She also teaches parenting series on effective parenting, works with children and youth on topics including mindfulness and staying home alone, and conducts workshops for families. Courtney has a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology as well as ten years of experience working in early childhood as a teacher/director and three years as a director of birth - 5th grade programming. She has also worked as an adult educator, and is certified as a Parent Talk and Teacher Talk Advantage trainer as well as a Music Together Specialist.

Elizabeth Villaverde

Elizabeth Villaverde, has her Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and over thirty-five years of experience in the field. She has twenty years' experience in Head Start in administrator positions, eleven years' experience as evaluator for Head Start programs across the county and has worked with Great Start to Quality as a consultant since 2011. She has presented training locally, statewide and nationally. She is English-Spanish bilingual. She now works in West Michigan supporting early childhood professionals with consulting and training.
