The Positron Emission Tomography (PET) group within the division of Bioimaging Sciences is dedicated to providing the highest quality of nuclear imaging research. With a new state of the art PET center, the research in our group is focused on advancing the interests of Yale clinicians, scientists, and students in molecular imaging research... Our mission is to create a collaborative molecular imaging research environment to advance the interests of Yale clinicians and scientists; to provide educational opportunities for undergraduate students, doctoral candidates, and post-doctoral trainees; and to develop new PET radiopharmaceuticals to advance disease diagnosis and medication discovery... We cater to ER's of varying severity levels: York Street is a Level 1 trauma and stroke center while Saint Raphael's, Milford Hospital and Shoreline Medical Centers are busy ERs but not Level 1. We also provide radiology services to the West Haven VA overnight.
