RealCare was founded and incorporated by Thomas Henry in 1994. However, our ownership and management team has worked in the insurance industry since 1983. In 2006 RealCare joined with NFP, the fourth largest U.S. based privately owned broker (according to Business Insurance). Being part of NFP gives RealCare a breadth and depth of capabilities we did not have as a small, independent firm. We have access to additional resources, better buying power and preferred carrier relationships, but we continue to manage our business based on the principals upon which it was founded.
