RUSHJUDO - Key Persons
Carl is a 1st Dan and a Level 1 Blackbelt. Carl helps laurie out with the intermediate classes.
Guy is a 3rd Dan Blackbelt and Level 3 coach. Guy is the judo technician on the team working closely with our England squad players and Seniors.
Joanna is a 1st Dan Blackbelt and Level 1 coach. A former GB squad player in her youth, she assists her brother Matthew in running the Adaptive Judo section.
Laurie is a 5th Dan Blackbelt and a Level 3 coach. He runs the club with passion and motivation.
Having recently retired from the police service Laurie is taking rushjudo into schools !!!

Matthew is known for his enthusiasm and energy, great with the younger ones and heads up our Adaptive Judo Section.
Matthew is a 2nd Dan Blackbelt , a Level 2 coach and is part of the Great Britain coaching team for Adaptive Judo.
She runs all the club administration and is the go to person for all matters that are off the judo mat. She is also a 1st Dan Blackbelt and helps Matt with the under 8 class so don't mess !!!
Steve is a 1st Dan Blackbelt and level 1 coach. He helps laurie on the intermediate and advanced classes. He is easily recognised with his mohawk hair !!!
Trevor is a 1st Dan Blackbelt and Level 2 coach. Trever is Matthews right hand man working with the young players and with the Adaptive Judo section.
Trudi is a very experienced club welfare officer and is always on hand if anyone needs to talk to someone about a welfare matter
