Carmel Mountain is located in the northern part of San Diego City, just south of Rancho Bernardo and north of Poway. The area has easy access to I-15, SR-56 and the I-15 "fast lane" making it an easy commute to downtown metropolitan offices and other employment centers.
There are approximately 12,000 residents who make Carmel Mountain home, enjoying its proximity to recreation, shopping and its convenient location mid-county. Another attraction, the schools are run by the Poway Unified School District, the highest scoring district in the county.
Robbins Jorgensen Christopher is the landscape architect for the conceptual design of Bay Terrace Park in the City of San Diego. This park was originally designed and developed in the late 1980's. Since the time of its inception, the park has fallen into a state of decline with many of the Eucalyptus trees infested with the longhorn beetle.
