Since the beginning of this Vineyard, David has played a major role from helping with the planting in 2005 to working on most of the harvests in some capacity. He is responsible for all the mechanical equipment from driving the quad and trailer to collecting the fruit from the harvest and driving the grapes to the winery. He has operated the transport of the raw materials, and the finished product since the beginning. He is also one of the qualified tractor drivers and sprayers for the vineyard.
David face has been familiar one at the Vineyard throughout the years, promoting the product, and Championing English Sparkling wine. He has attended numerous Fairs selling and marketing Southcott Vineyard Products, and delivering the wine locally and Nationally.
He will bring his knowledge of photography, wine and social media to the Family business, and looks forward to sharing the Southcott Vineyard story and journey with you.

Sarah is the other half of the Southcott Vineyard Partnership. She met Tim whilst studying hotel management in the '60s. She ran the family hotel business as managing director from 1998 -2003. They purchased Southcott in 2003 and planted the Vineyard in 2005. She attended Plumpton with Tim.
She is also a Liveryman of the Clockmakers and for 20 years sat as a Magistrate on the Wiltshire bench until she retired in 2014. She is the navigator on the Classic car rallies. She provides superb harvest lunches during the picking days after working in the vineyard as well. During pruning she pulls out all the rubbish and clears down. A harder job sometimes than the actual pruning.
Tim is a partner in the business of Southcott Vineyard. He has recently resigned as a Regional Director on the WineGB board after 4 years ( 2021 - WineGB is the National Trade Association for English and Welsh wines), and Chairman of the Wessex Region after 10 years (November 2021).
He attended Plumpton college to learn about Viticulture in 2005/6.
He has forty years of experience in the Hotel and Catering industry. As well as being the "green fingers" in the vineyard he has a love of clocks and watches and is a Liveryman of the Clockmakers and his other interests include Classic Cars and he participates in European rallies with his wife, Sarah, and son, David.
