David F. Wells

David Wells has practiced as a general trial and appellate attorney since 1992 throughout the Michigan state and federal court systems. He has handled, both defensively and as plaintiff's counsel, complex bank litigation, legal malpractice, insurance litigation, business torts and general litigation, partnership, shareholder and other fiduciary duty lawsuits, FINRA arbitration and other types of alternative dispute resolution, including facilitations.

Henry Stancato

Henry Stancato primarily represents financial institutions, particularly in the areas of payment systems disputes, retail banking operations, financial fraud prevention and remediation, as well as commercial loan collections. To this field, he brings the benefit of a long, varied career in general litigation practice during which, in addition to wide range of commercial matters, he has also litigated a series of groundbreaking fair housing cases and served as counsel for a number of Detroit area non-profit corporations. At the Southeastern Michigan law firm where he spent a dozen years before forming Stancato Tragge Wells, PLLC in January, 2014, Stancato served as manager of litigation in order to teach and promote best practices in modern litigation techniques. Stancato is a frequent lecturer on topics ranging from trial practice, fraud investigations, commercial lending and banking litigation. He presently serves as a member of the Michigan Wildlife Council, Michigan Department of Natural Resources. He is a past board member of Youthville Detroit and New Center Community Mental Health Services.

John Tragge

John Tragge focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation and debtor-creditor rights, with an emphasis on representing banks, credit unions and other financial institutions. He has represented creditors, receivers and other interested parties in connection with a wide variety of troubled credit situations, including loan restructuring, forbearance negotiations and workouts, collections, asset seizure and liquidation, foreclosures, real estate and title disputes, construction lending matters, loan participations, and commercial bankruptcy cases. He also has extensive experience in handling fraud, retail and operational matters for financial institution clients. His pro bono and other noteworthy efforts outside banking litigation include successful action against the City of Detroit under the Monumental Buildings Act to preserve the Grand Army of the Republic building and numerous housing discrimination cases as a Fair Housing Center of Metropolitan Detroit panel attorney.
