Club in its present format has been running since 1967, the club is based at the Tile Hill Gym on the grounds of the Standard Triumph Recreation Club. The Triumph Amateur Boxing club in 1967 was taken over by Tom McGarry, Tom was a high-level England manager and ABA executive. Tom retired in 2001 due to ill health and running of club was taken over by Dinesh Darbar, who has been a club member since 1978 and a coach with the club since 1983... The club has produced a lot of boxers over the years and has consistently produced a portfolio of champions at every level. The succession of champions has given the club a high profile in amateur boxing... The list of Achievement since 1967 are to numerous to list, but since the 2000 millennium the club has had approximate 60 midland championship titles. The club has been represented in 19 national finals wining 6 national titles over this small period of time.
