Hand-picked by Lou, Anush has already gained a great reputation for treating sports injuries here at Cornwall Physio.
Anush has previously worked with Sports teams and in the NHS but loves the extra care and attention that we can provide in private practice. Before qualifying as a Physiotherapist, Anush gained a Sports Therapy degree and has carried this expertise into his clinical practice where he treats everything from back and neck pain through to sports and running injuries.
Anush is the 'soft tissue specialist' when it comes to deep tissue massage, and is likely to be your best option if you're looking to recover fast from tired muscles. He is also a rehab and return-to-sport guru and regularly seen guiding our patients through their anti-gravity treadmill sessions.
Away from the clinic Anush is a keen sports person, taking part in anything from hiking up dartmoor to longboarding, You'll also find him bouldering and surfing or up to anything else ‘outdoorsy'. Anush is passionate about the benefits of being active and participation in sport and promoting mental health awareness.
Connor is our Sports Rehabilitator and our expert when it comes to rehabbing sports injuries and surgeries.
Connor has previously worked with many professional clubs and athletes before coming to Cornwall Physio such as Plymouth Argyle, The Plymouth City Patriots Basketball Team and Team GB Paralympians.
Connor is great at treating backs, necks and shoulders and excels at lower limb rehab. He's your man if you need help fixing an Achilles, a sprained ankle, plantar fasciitis or sore knees! Connor is also excellent at soft tissue work and taping.
Away from the clinic, Connor is a keen footballer and loves working with injury prevention with our footballers and runners.
Dawn has been with Cornwall Physio since it expanded in 2019. She has an extensive background in Business Admin and has worked in both public and private sectors.
"I rode for nearly 30 years, competing and writing in Dressage competitions before taking up running". Dawn also practices Yoga regularly, swims and Stand Up Paddle boards! "I try and keep open water swimming all year round, topped up with some weekly pool swims."
Dawn is a keen trail runner and is well know in the Swim-Run and Trail Running communities for volunteer marshalling and providing mobile crew at MudCrew's RAT and ARC races.
"I've run a lot of the Cornish trail races and dipped my toe into Ultra running, but love supporting runners just as much, especially on the tough Coastpath Ultras we're lucky enough to have here in Cornwall".

Lou has TWO Masters degrees- from the University of Birmingham and Kings College London. She is a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist with over 15 years Physiotherapy experience. During her career she has been taught by and worked alongside, some of the most highly regarded international experts in Physiotherapy and Pain Science.
Lou is an extremely knowledgeable physio and she helped me with both a shoulder and hip injury. Highly recommended.
Rob joined the team at Cornwall Physio in October 2020, bringing with him a vast experience in Musculoskeletal Physio and sports injuries. Lou hand-picked Rob due to his experience working within specialist private Physiotherapy and elite level sports injury rehab. This experience makes him the perfect fit for the clinic here. Rob is an all-round sports injury expert, with a specialist interest in the Shoulder and related injuries. He is a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society, which helps put him at the forefront of new knowledge and research to come out in this area.
