Alexander Rakita - Founder

Alexander Rakita is an award-winning architect with 25 years of senior-level experience in the UK, Russia, Ireland and the Middle East. Education Alexander's architectural qualifications match his international career. He graduating with honours from the Moscow Architectural Institute in 1993, having spent one year of his studies in Architecture and Urban Design at Ecole Paris-Tolbiac in France through an exchange programme. In 2008 he gained his Certificate in Professional Practice from the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland, and in 2010 became a registered member of ARB and RIBA. Alexander Rakita spent his early career working in a number of public and private practices on some complex public and commercial projects, including theatres and museums, as well as several high-end residential schemes in the "Golden Mile" area of Moscow. In 2004 Alexander became the Deputy Head of the Moscow office of Murray O'Laoire Architects (MOLA). With his help, the office doubled in size and won its first Russian award. Alexander's projects during that period included International Congress Centre in Rostov-on-Don, Clover-Plaza mixed-use complex in Kaliningrad, Planeta shopping centre in Krasnoyarsk, BAT cigarette factory in St. Petersburg and many others.

Jesica Valle

Jesica studied at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Seville, where she obtained her degree in Architecture. She started her professional career in 2016 on joining an architectural studio in the city, where she worked on a variety of different projects, including residential, commercial and health. She also participated in a number of different national competitions, winning one for a library project situated in Seville.

Sérgio Vale

SérgioVale is an ARB registered Architect, with six years of professional experience in both Portugal and the UK. Graduated from ESAP (Escola Superior Artística do Porto) in Portugal, he worked on various projects in residential, cultural, educational and hospitality sectors. Sérgio joined AR Architecture in 2013 as a Project Architect and became an Associate in 2016. He has been a leader of several high-end residential projects, including the zero-energy Lariden House in Surrey, the £15m refurbishment of a Grade II* listed private house in Belgravia and the £3m new development in Knightsbridge, as well as of the 5* Hyatt Regency Hotel in Rostov-on-Don (Russia). Sérgio brings his strong architectural knowledge, excellent coordination experience, integration capabilities and a fine eye for detail to all stages of the work.
