CAMBRIDGE BADMINTON CLUB

The Cambridge Badminton Club all began in 1974. Up until that time there were various smaller clubs being run from Preston High School, the local YMCA & YWCA's and community services. It was at this time that the Cambridge Badminton Club was formed to bring everyone together into more competitive badminton. Monday evenings was secured at Glenview Secondary School and Thursday evenings at St. Benedict's... The Cambridge Badminton Club celebrated their 35th anniversary in the 2009/2010 season. The club was founded in 1974 by some very enthusiastic badminton players and is still thriving today with over 100 members... We're a sociable mix of all ages and sexes. Not many other sports clubs can boast an appeal spanning age, race and gender, therefore joining badminton is the perfect way to meet a wide range of friendly people and to make the most of the experience.
