Brian DiRusso

Job Titles:
  • Senior Architect
Brian is a LEED accredited architect with a Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University. He joined CCR in 2015 after a stint in the trenches as a stay-at-home dad. In his spare time, he loves to travel with his family in his sweet minivan complete with license plate that reads "HOMER". Originally we thought it referenced something cool like The Simpsons, but it turns out he's just really into classic Greek literature. Brian claims to love most things, but we know his first passion is learning. Sorry, kids.

Chuck Smith

Job Titles:
  • Architect
Chuck has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Birmingham-Southern College and a Master of Architecture from Georgia Tech. Despite nearly losing a finger in a power saw incident, he got an internship in the machine shop at Georgia Tech that led to a passion for salvaging and restoring industrial equipment. Approaching every project with patience, he follows the advice of one of his college professors: "Never say it's a problem, say it's an opportunity for a creative solution". Lissy's favorite projects are complicated and challenging historic renovations and she hates seeing an old building sit unused and unloved - almost as much as she hates doing the dishes. Lissy's favorite thing is her garden. Admittedly, it's our favorite thing too, because she brings us all the food she and her husband, Bobby, can't eat. With her ringing laugh and veggie leftovers, we'll be the first to admit - Lissy spoils us.

We're all pretty much in awe of her and are convinced she's some sort of super human.
