Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#LCSW13725) graduated with his Masters in Social Work from Arizona State in 2009. Ryan completed his clinical internship at the VA where he worked with Veterans experiencing mental health issues. His early clinical experience focused on therapy with children, youths, and families in an outpatient clinic in South Tucson. Ryan has trained and worked in the substance abuse recovery arena and has worked with both children and adults in in-patient and outpatient settings. In addition to his clinical work, Ryan teaches at ASU in the school of social work as a facility associate and loves teaching the foundations of the profession. Ryan Olson has provided clinical supervision for associate licensed social workers seeking their advanced licenses, has been a trainer for the Arizona chapter of NASW, and been practicing in Tucson for 23 years. Populations of special interest for Ryan include Transitional Age Youth (16-22 years old), substance use treatment, and SMI Native populations. Ryan's hobbies include scuba diving with his family while on vacation and video gaming in his spare time. With Ryan you'll be in good hands when receiving behavior health services.
