EVERGREEN AUDIOLOGY - Key Persons

Dr. Lawson completed his Au.D. in the United States Army as an active duty audiologist stationed at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Upon graduation, he assumed command at the home of the 101st Airborne Division in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. As a Captain in the Army, Dr. Lawson was responsible for a clinical and hearing conservation outreach program which provides services to over 28,000 soldiers and their families. Additionally, Dr. Lawson served as a military course director for the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC), providing training for individuals to become certified as hearing technicians to provide hearing screenings and earplug fittings. ​In his spare time, Dr. Lawson enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest, especially via drone. "The landscape is so much different than what I'm used to," he says, referencing growing up in Florida and living on the East coast for much of his life. "I'm so lucky that the Gorge is basically my backyard." Moving here allowed him to eventually meet his fiancée Mars, a Pacific Northwest native. Together, they enjoy hobbies such as stone collecting, reading books together, and video games.

Hilarie worked with us as the Office Manager for 10 years before relocating to California with her family (and cat Tilly) in Spring of 2020. She made this space a home with her caring nature, warm smile, and green thumb. It's no secret that our patients are still asking about her, so we hope that she thinks of us fondly, too. Nic graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Washington State University in 2017. Nic has been a wonderful resource for the local hard-of-hearing community. Along with being able to provide all available Walk-In Services, he has recently been promoted to Office Manager. Please congratulate him the next time you're in! Nic is a Pacific Northwest native who has spent time in both Oregon and Washington; he enjoys spending evenings with his family. Nic is a true cinema fan, and usually has a new story to recommend to anyone who has been looking for something fun to watch. He will often virtually join Chris and Mars in multi-player online games.
