Golden Leaf Tobacco has deep roots in the rich Southside Virginia soil where the Bailey family has been growing tobacco on the same land for 5 generations. In 1989, the tobacco operations were expanded to include the current dealer company that allows Golden Leaf Tobacco to provide expertise in contracting, growing, processing and selling green leaf and processed tobacco. The Bailey family also started S&M Brands, Inc. in 1994 to complete the process from seed to final product with the finest cigarette and cigar brands sold domestically and in select international markets.
