J&S WATER WELLS

J&S Water Wells was established in 1949 by Ray Stevens and Charles Johnson. From its beginnings, the company concentrated on domestic water well supply in the Bellville, TX area and its surroundings. In 1979, John E. Richardson purchased the company and since then, it has grown steadily over the last 30 plus years. In June, 2019, the company was purchased by Monte Richardson. During the late 1970's, the company's focus grew to include Water Supply and pump rental for the booming Texas oil fields. Turnkey well packages were introduced as a cost effective means for producing water for oil and gas drilling needs. Efficient methods were employed by the use of Simco all hydraulic, top head, mud rotary drilling rigs as well as the use of submersible pump and motor combinations to provide a reliable means for extracting needed water from the ground.
