Arnaud Fraticelli

Mtre. Arnaud Fraticelli began practising law in 1986 as an intern in commercial litigation. He continued his practice as a lawyer and partner in a boutique firm in Montreal. For many years, his practice has been focused on commercial, corporate, real estate and business law. His legal expertise makes him a top choice for commercial matters and transactions, including conceptualization of their structure and drafting of the required agreements and documents. He regularly advises corporations of all sizes concerning the handling of their current commercial dealings. He is consulted regularly concerning financing and immovable matters, including securities and hypothecs. Arnaud has a level of experience that few lawyers in the field of business possess. He has combined the art of pleading law with that of negotiation in the field of commercial law. Having acquired a high level of proficiency in civil law and civil procedure, Arnaud is deemed a first class advisor to his clients who are in search of strategies specific to the realization of each mandate. In accordance with his desire to share his knowledge and experience, Arnaud has been teaching civil procedure, obligations, securities, bankruptcy and the drafting of proceedings and contracts at the École du Barreau du Québec. Additionally, he teaches civil procedure, securities and business law at the University of Québec at Montreal since 2002.

Bruno Burrogano - CEO

Mtre Bruno Burrogano is specialized in commercial real estate law, real estate financing and condominium law. He acts as legal counsel to banks, life insurance companies, institutional and private lenders, investors and developers, universities, transportation companies and other large corporations, including several foreign companies. The author of several law articles, Bruno has also held the position of lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal for several years. He was a municipal councillor and the deputy mayor of the City of Saint-Lambert, and chaired its Urban Planning Advisory Committee.

Camille Mercier-Richard

Mtre Mercier-Richard joined our firm after having started her career with a notarial firm in Quebec City. Camille practices mainly in commercial and transactional real estate law and deals with clients who are mainly banks, institutional and private lenders, investors and promoters.

Caroline Gauvin

Caroline Gauvin has worked at our firm for nearly twenty-five years. She was the assistant to Mtre. Bruno Burrogano for more than twenty years in charge of real estate transactions. Today she is in charge of human resources and certain special projects for the firm and still handles various aspects of real estate files.

Diane Lehoux

Mtre Diane Lehoux began her career as a notary in our firm. She specializes in the areas of real estate law, commercial financing and railway property law. As part of her practice, she is responsible for drafting various contracts and agreements, as well as conducting due diligence reviews, including off-title searches. She carries out the most complex title examinations with skill, rigour and integrity, and produces detailed title reports. Her proven expertise in title examinations and her competency benefit both clients and colleagues alike.

Florence Dumesnil

Mtre. Florence Dumesnil joined our team after having started her career as an articling student and Notary in an important law firm after she obtained her law degree at the University of Ottawa where she figured on the Dean's list of the Faculty of Law in 2017, 2018 and 2019. This distinction gave her the possibility to act as mentor to new students of the faculty as early as her second year of studies. During the course of her studies of Master of Notarial Law at the University of Montreal from 2019 to 2021 she was an assistant to lecturers in the same program. Florence is focusing her practice towards commercial financing and transactional real estate law.

Frédérique Guertin

Mtre Frédérique Guertin has been working with our firm since the beginning of her collegial studies. After completing her law degree and her master's degree in notarial law, she completed her internship and began her career at the firm. As part of her practice, she is called upon to conduct title examinations and produce detailed title reports in addition to her work in divided co-ownership where she participates in all stages of projects, from launch to delivery.

Jacques Castonguay

Job Titles:
  • Lawyer / Member of the Quebec Bar since 1974, Mtre Castonguay Pleads Regularly before the Courts of Justice, Mainly in Civil Law, Labor Law and Administrative Law
Specialized in labor relations, Mtre Castonguay has also participated in several negotiations of collective agreements, more specifically in the public sector. Having an interest in consumer protection laws, he has initiated several class actions, representing groups of consumers in Quebec. Member of the Board of Directors of the Consumer Protection Office for several years, he regularly drafts articles concerning the application of the Consumer Protection Act.

Jean-Frédéric Dumesnil

Mtre. Jean-Frédéric Dumesnil joined our team of notaries after articling with our firm. He obtained his bachelor's degree in law and his master's degree in notarial law from the University of Montréal, where he was awarded the Jacques Beaulne scholarship for excellence in notarial law in recognition of the quality and excellence of his academic achievements. In his practice, he is involved in many aspects of real estate law, from residential real estate transactions to the realization and delivery of condominium projects.

Kayla Petosa

Mtre Kayla Petosa completed her internship and began her career as a notary within our firm by developing a general practice, specializing however in residential real estate law and more particularly in divided co-ownership by the development of real estate projects, including drafting preliminary contracts of sale, information notes, deeds of sale and other agreements. In addition to residential real estate law, having followed several courses in this regard, Kayla draws up wills, protection mandates, matrimonial or civil union agreements and celebrates marriages.

Marie-Josée Desjardins

Mtre Marie-Josée Desjardins practices mainly in the field of real estate law. Her many years of experience were put to good use with government agencies for which she acted as legal counsel within the framework of mandates concerning public service networks, in particular, with regard to the purchase and sale of immovables, drafting deeds of servitude and title examinations. Mtre Desjardins has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal in the Masters of Notarial Law program since 2006, where she teaches real estate law including such topics as dismemberments of the right of ownership, transfers of immovables and other advanced subjects.

Mtre Nathalie Munger specializes primarily in the implementation of real estate projects and in condominium law. In setting up and completing projects, her tasks include drafting preliminary contracts, information notices, declarations of divided co-ownership, servitudes, deeds of sale, contracts and other agreements. Nathalie Munger has been a lecturer in the Master of Notarial Law (LL.M.) program (advanced topics in real estate law) at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal.

Stéphane Gauthier

Stéphane Gauthier has worked in accounting and taxation since 1988. His experience includes twelve years in an accounting firm and six years employment as a controller. He conscientiously oversees the sound financial management of the firm and all aspects of its trust accounting.
