Alexandra Brand joined Legend Partners in April, 2021. Prior to joining, she worked part-time managing properties in her family's real estate firm. In college at the University of Utah, she double majored in economics and international studies, while receiving a minor in psychology. College offered her the advantage of being able to visit 25 countries. In 2020, Alexandra taught English in Thailand for a semester and spent a semester studying in Spain. Alexandra played three years of collegiate lacrosse at the University of Utah and enjoyed four years in the Chi Omega sorority in college. Alexandra comes from a family with a depth in real estate. She bought her first investment property in 2015.

Beau Niblock

Beau Niblock grew up in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and moved to Colorado to be close to the mountains. He obtained an undergraduate degree in environmental studies from Fort Lewis College in Durango in 2017. After that, he moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina to study Spanish. He returned to the States later that year and studied at the University of Denver, earning a graduate certificate in Geographic Information Systems in 2019. Beau started working Legend Partners in November 2020, and enjoys being a part of Legend Partners' collaborative team environment. You can catch Beau watching basketball, football, or anything to do with the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Blake Larson - VP

Blake Larson has leased over one million square feet to anchor and non-anchor retail tenants and has represented the leasing interests of over 7.2 million square feet of retail shopping centers in his career. He is one of the only brokers in the state exclusively focused on suburban retail shopping centers and only represents select tenants. This narrow focus has allowed him to earn CoStar Power Broker of the year awards for his leasing efforts in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2022. Prior to joining Legend Partners as an associate broker in June 2013, Blake spent over three years working for Regency Centers. While there, Blake managed a portfolio of grocery-anchored centers in Denver and Phoenix and was promoted to leasing representative for their Colorado Springs and Arizona properties. His leasing portfolio led the company in both occupancy gains and NOI growth during his final year with the company.

Blake Skinner joined the Legend Partners team as Vice President in 2002. Prior to this, Blake served as in-house counsel for Rocky Mountain Internet. He was also a founding partner and general counsel of Huge Hosting, a website hosting services company based in Denver. At Legend Partners, Blake's focus has been on assisting retail developers with their projects, from creative inception to the conclusion of construction and leasing. His work also includes tenant representation where he advises his clients on strategic roll-outs.

Chris Hatch is the Manager of the Salt Lake City Legend Partners' office and is proud to be a third-generation real estate professional. He started his real estate career learning under the tutelage of his father and grandfather. After several years of establishing his base knowledge in real estate, Chris joined Professional Brokers, a Salt Lake-based retail brokerage office in 2002. At Professional Brokers Chris was an active commercial sales and leasing agent and helped with the acquisition and disposition of a number of buildings as well as assisting a handful of retailers with expansions throughout the Intermountain Area. After his experience there, Chris returned to his family's development company where he helped to initiate several new projects. In 2006, Chris created a partnership with Jake Olson creating a boutique retail brokerage shop, IRG Retail. Chris holds active real estate brokers licenses in Utah, Montana, Nevada, and Idaho. Christopher Burton

Christopher Burton joined Legend Partners as a partner in 2001, just six months after the company's inception. After two years of post-college entrepreneurial activity in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Christopher joined Trammell Crow Company in 1985. There he worked in the leasing, brokerage and build-to-suit divisions for nine years until accepting a Vice President of Retail position at Bramelea's U.S properties in 1994. In his role at Bramelea, Christopher was responsible for overseeing both regional mall and retail centers throughout the United States. In 1995, Christopher moved into the retail brokerage market in Denver. His focus was on national large format retail and restaurant tenant representation. In his current role at Legend Partners, Christopher provides retail brokerage services for clients in Colorado and surrounding states including Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota. He also handles landlord representation for national and regional shopping center owners. Christopher, a Houston native, is married and the father of twins.

Connor DeBry

Connor is from Salt Lake and has always been around the commercial real estate business. During his time as an undergraduate at the University of Utah he started at Situs as an assistant to senior agents. However, he quickly moved away from an assistant role to independently working with his own clients. He has successfully guided clients through intricate real estate transactions, providing invaluable insights in response to the ever-changing market landscape. With a deep comprehension of lease negotiations, Connor has assisted numerous landlords and tenant secure lease agreements that align with their unique requirements. Dan Engle

Prior to joining Legend Partners, Dan spent two years at Situs Retail Group. He previously worked in golf club manufacturing, digital marketing, transportation logistics, and was the Head Men's Golf Coach at Westminster College for three years. Dan graduated from the University of Utah in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and a minor in sociology, while also playing on the golf team. Following college, he enjoyed a professional golf career that took him all over the United States for a few years. Dan began his real estate career on the team of Matt Harlin and Taylor DeBry. As part of that team, Dan gained valuable experience with landlord representation, tenant representation, development strategy, and site selection for retailers at the local, regional, and national levels. David Morgan

Dave Morgan joined Legend Partners in July of 2010 after working as the Marketing and Graphic Design manager for a local family entertainment center. He has been a graphic designer for over 25 years and has honed his focus on marketing for the last 14. In addition to marketing, Dave also handles the photography, Videography, and IT for Legend Partners. He and his wife are both natives of Colorado, living in Ken Caryl. They have a few pets and two young boys, Maverick (11) and Wyatt (8). Aside from his family, his focus is on the Denver Broncos, video production, and honey-do lists.

David O. Larson

David O. Larson is a Denver native and one of the founders of Legend Partners, helped launch the firm in October 2000 as the next logical step in a long and successful retail brokerage career. Beginning in 1982, David began his retail brokerage career as the Vice President at Sullivan Hayes Companies. In 1990, he and fellow Partner Rick Will, formed EquiVentures Inc., a full-service commercial real estate firm. Three years after the sale of EquiVentures to Mile High Properties LLC, David joined Trammell Crow Company as the Vice President of their national retail services network. Julie Burch

Julie Burch has transplanted to Colorado in 2005 from Houston, TX. She joined Legend Partners in December 2016 and her primary role within the development team is to help facilitate construction and the leasing of properties. Prior to joining the Legend Partners' team, Julie worked at Shea Properties for 11 years as a Real Estate Manager responsible for anything necessary to ensure class A standards were maintained, properties leased, capital and tenant improvement projects managed efficiently, and her portfolio operated within budget. Julie is a licensed broker and achieved her CPM from IREM in 2016. She is an active member of the IREM organization and has participated on the Golf Committee and Community Outreach Committee. She strives to be involved with any good cause and be an example to her children that one person can make a difference. When not in the office Julie loves to be outdoors enjoying any activity from leisure time at a park or pool, to boating, camping, skiing and even skydiving on a few occasions.

Kelly Greene - SVP

Margaret Grosse Hyatt

Margaret Grosse Hyatt, Esq. holds the title Land & Retail Specialist @ LP Margaret's passion of all things real estate stems from being the daughter of the founders of a prominent and highly respected commercial real estate development company in the West. Her parents taught her the importance of having good fundamentals, a strong work ethic, and loving what you do. Margaret began her lengthy career in law and real estate development in Eastern Europe. At 24 she started a development company which acquired leasehold interests across multiple buildings for a mixed-use retail redevelopment opportunity located in the heart of Prague. Following a successful sale of her company she then joined on as an associate attorney with a law firm conducting site evaluations across Eastern Europe for the hospitality industry and the world's leading producer of building materials, Lafarge Coppée. Upon returning to the U.S. Margaret immersed herself in the development process and took on the role of in-house counsel at Foursquare Properties, Inc., a company that has developed 4.1 million square feet of commercial and managed 2 million square feet of retail. Here in addition to learning the ins-and-outs of the documentation necessary for a successful development she acquired a working knowledge of entitlement processing, construction (including engineering & architecture), and construction management. After starting a family Margaret opened a law firm focused on commercial real estate that included negotiating deals for mom-and-pop start-ups to national chains of all shapes and sizes. Margaret and her family moved to Utah in 2006 where she volunteered extensively at the local and state level helping to grow the sport of lacrosse while staying engaged in the real estate industry assisting clients with site selection of development and leasing opportunities. Matt graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Geography/GIS and has been making maps ever since. Matt has been a GIS Analyst in Commercial Real Estate for over a decade. He has worked with clients throughout the United States for several different needs such as commercial real estate, solar farms, urban development, literature, and tourism. Matt focuses on creating geographic and demographic data that can help brokers and their clients visualize market trends and make easier decisions. Using ESRI including ArcGIS and multiple other mapping solutions, Matt provides spatial analysis for existing and potential locations. Previous to Legend Partners Matt was with Red Paw Technologies, Cushman & Wakefield, and Backcountry.com.

Mauri Cohen

Mauri Cohen joined Legend Partners in 2022 but has worked in real estate since she was 16. She has dabbled in all facets of the industry but spent much of her career in residential and commercial property management where she oversaw millions of square feet of real estate. She eventually decided she'd had enough fun in that department and pivoted to commercial brokerage where she currently holds the title of Transaction Coordinator. Mauri is a third-generation Colorado native and when she's not at work you can find her with her husband Anthony and Great Dane Sid Vicious.

Monica coordinated the leasing at the Shops At South Town and worked closely with their team, gaining extensive knowledge about the market in that area. Monica comes from an extensive background in corporate marketing, which gives her a unique insight into the needs of the customer. Nate Hansen - VP

Nate Hansen joined Legend Partners as an associate broker in August 2018. Prior to joining, Nate spent 5 years working for Colliers International in Minneapolis. While there, Nate specialized in tenant representation and the acquisition of land assets. His expertise extends to all types of retail property, from neighborhood strip centers to regional shopping centers, as well as all land uses. In his role at Legend Partners, Nate's primary focus is on-site selection for regional and national tenants. Nate's entrepreneurial spirit and creativity allow him to identify sites that others may have overlooked, while an unrelenting persistency allows him to close on these sites. Pete Pavlakis

Peter Pavlakis, one of the four founding partners of Legend Partners, started his retail brokerage career as head of retail leasing at Pride West in 1989. In June of that following year, he became the Director of Leasing at R&B Management. After successful roles at CB Commercial and Trammell Crow Company, he joined Legend Partners when the firm was established in October 2000. Throughout his career in retail brokerage, Peter has consistently been a top producer and recognized multiple times as one of Denver's Top Retail Brokers by the Denver Business Journal. In both 1995 and 2010, he won the NAIOP Retail Broker of the Year award. And over the course of his career, he has facilitated over 2,300 retail deals valued at over $2 billion dollars. He specializes in the representation of institutional landlords on both new mixed-use projects as well as existing shopping centers. As a Denver native, Peter has added to his list of professional accomplishments a fierce dedication to giving back and is currently on the Board of Directors for the Fred Tesone Football Foundation and Chris Rule Foundations and served as Chairman for the John Lynch Salute the Stars event raising money for young athletes who have demonstrated exceptional humanity, academic achievement, and athletic acumen. He was also nominated for Man of the Year for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Porter Anderson

Porter Anderson is a 4th generation real estate professional and has been helping manage his family portfolio from a young age. Porter joined Legend Partners in May of 2022 with his primary role within the development team. Prior to joining the Legend Partners' team, Porter used his real estate finance expertise working for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for 2 years. He managed transactions of meetinghouses, humanitarian, and educational sites across the US and Canada. Porter is a licensed broker and received his MRED (master's in real estate development) from the University of Utah. When not working in real estate Porter is a gamer, a diehard soccer fan, and loves spending time with his family.

Rick Will

Founding Partner Rick Will develops, acquires, and sells retail centers across the United States. Rick's early roots were focused on the development of retail single-tenant NNN and multi-tenant strip center assets. Over the past few years, Rick has added large mixed-use developments to his portfolio. As head of Legend Partners' Development Group, and one of the four founding partners of Legend Partners, Rick has been instrumental in our growth since its inception. Ricks's real estate career began in 1985 with LaSalle Partners and extended to Mile High Properties and then to Trammell Crow Company. Along with our formation in 2000, Rick spent 8 years as a master broker and eventually Development Director for Chipotle Mexican Grill. Over that period Rick was responsible for coordinating real estate, design, and construction for a 15-state region, completing over 200 real estate transactions. Rick's development team is responsible for approximately $200 million of real estate development across 16 states. Rick and his team continue to develop NNN and multi-tenant properties and are part of the team developing Gates District at Broadway Station, a mixed-use transit-oriented development in Denver, CO. Upon completion Gates District will deliver over 400,000 square feet of office, 180,000 square feet of retail and 900 residential units.

Robert Sweeney

Robert Sweeney has been an active participant in the commercial real estate community for the past ten years as a broker in Utah and Wyoming. Prior to joining Legend Partners Robert was an Asset Manager for Pennbridge Capital, a small real estate boutique focusing on the purchase of institutional quality real estate for its accredited investors. Preceding Pennbridge Capital Robert spent six years working for Newmark Grubb ACRES within three different divisions. During his tenure at Newmark, Robert was Assistant Controller working on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthly financial statements. After being promoted to property management, Robert managed over a million square feet of retail, office, and industrial real estate. Robert was then pleased to join one of Newmark's top producing brokerage teams. As an Account Manager, he assisted clients with acquisitions, dispositions, and lease negotiations throughout the country. Robert's diverse real estate background and understanding of commercial properties make him a valuable member of the team. Robert is a licensed real estate agent in the State of Utah as well as Wyoming.
