The Lower Savannah Workforce Development Board (LSWDB), synonymous with the term Local Workforce Investment Board (LWIB) represents Aiken, Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Calhoun, and Orangeburg Counties in the State of South Carolina. The MISSION of the Lower Savannah Workforce Development Board is to: "provide workforce development activities that will increase and enhance the economic viability of the six county region."
