Dr. Nidal Yunis

Dr. Yunis finished his internal medicine specialty in 1998 from Brown University, an IV league school, where he also served as chief resident and subsequently as clinical assistant professor of medicine and assistant director of the internal medicine residency program. He then joined Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts where he did his cardiovascular fellowship graduating in 2004. After that he further specialized in interventional cardiology at the Libin Cardiovascular Institute at the University of Calgary in Canada. He has been in practicing cardiovascular medicine for more than 15 years. Dr. Yunis has several publications in various prestigious peer review cardiovascular Journals. He obtained his American board certification in internal medicine in 1998, American board certification in Cardiovascular Medicine 2004, and American board certification in Nuclear cardiology 2004. His areas of practice include general Cardiology, interventional Cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and vascular medicine. He is a fellow at the American College of Cardiology and Houston County Medical Society. Dr. Yunis is married and has 3 children. He enjoys tennis, biking, and fishing when he is not working. He is a resident of Dothan, Alabama.
