RIDGEWAY DENTAL - Key Persons
Dr. James attended the University of Detroit Mercy for both his undergraduate degree in Chemistry and his doctoral degree in Dentistry. Dr. James is focused on staying up to date with current dental procedures and techniques. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association.
Dr. James practices with a patient-centered approach and believes in treating the patient as a whole, and that comprehensive dentistry doesn't involve just our teeth.
Born and raised in Michigan, he enjoys spending his time outdoors. Some of his favorite hobbies include camping, golfing and skiing.
Dr. Leah Jacobs is committed to providing her patients with a comfortable and safe dental home. Her goal is create a relaxed, judgement-free setting for her patients.
Dr. Leah received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Michigan. After a research year at Boston Children's Hospital, she attended dental school at the University of Utah and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Since graduating, Dr. Leah has continued to stay up to date on dental technologies with a particular passion for Invisalign and comprehensive care.
As a third generation dentist, Dr. Leah has had the joy and honor of watching her father, Dr. Jonathan Jacobs, form caring a professional relationships with all of his patients. This model has served as the foundation for her own career goals; to provide excellent patient care while providing a warm, welcoming environment. Beyond dentistry, Dr. Leah enjoys spending her time skiing, hiking, attending concerts, and dressing up her dog, Larry, in costumes.
