He is a former practicing lawyer and a subject matter expert in applied artificial intelligence. Brian is the inventor of the IBM Outside Counsel Insights solution, the first invoice review tool in the legal industry to use AI to reduce outside counsel spend. He is also the creator of the Watson Legal Design Thinking Workshop methodology for identifying and prioritizing use cases for legal clients.
