72® Services GmbH was founded in 2009 by our managing director, Simon Martinelli. He is a passionate and experienced expert in Java, performance optimization, and application integration. His strengths include software architecture and system design, among other areas.
Simon Martinelli is a dynamic, innovative leader with more than 27 years of experience in implementing efficient solutions, both as a developer, architect, and technical project manager.
As an active member of the Java development community, he became a Java Champion, a Vaadin Champion, and an Oracle ACE Associate. He has also made significant contributions to the JSR-352 batch applications and the JSR-354 Money and Currency API.
As a part-time lecturer at the Bern University of Applied Sciences and the University of Applied Science of Northwestern-Switzerland, where he teaches the architecture and design of distributed systems, microservices, Spring Framework and Spring Boot, object-relational mapping with Hibernate, DevOps and persistence technologies in Bachelor of Science and continuing education courses
