Role
As Operations Manager at Apex, I serve our operations team by ensuring they have the necessary tools, processes, and resources to do what they do best. I seek to develop trust-based relationships with our staff to facilitate collaboration, healthy communication, and positive growth. I provide organizational support and development through the implementation of effective processes that better serve the individuals who make up our team.

- Data Manager & HIPAA Compliance Officer
I am responsible for the billing for a few of the NM School Based Health Centers as well as some of the data analysis and reporting for both NM and Colorado SBHCs.
Role
In my role as Data Manager, I am responsible for most of the data analysis and reporting for our school-based health center projects. As the HIPAA Compliance Officer, I am responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating all policies, procedures, plans, risk analyses, and agreements for Apex and our partners. I work with the Apex Technical Team to ensure our systems are secure and that Apex is compliant with HIPAA, FERPA, and other state and federal laws and regulations.

- Project Support Coordinator
Role
In my position as Project Support Coordinator, I take a personal interest in creating relationships and communicating with our project partners. My aim is to assist in the creation of an environment where data can flow freely and barriers can be discussed openly so resolutions are found quickly.
I am the chief evangelist for Apex's approach to evaluation and am passionate about our vision: Evaluation that works.
Role
I will never cease to be amazed by humanity's connectedness. From delight to sadness, our experiences are deeply woven and realities are shared. My work with Apex represents this phenomenon. I've worked with partners across the education spectrum in early childhood, K-12, and higher education, as well as school health and water education. I support grant proposal development, program evaluation, and data visualization and reporting. I love the challenge of presenting data and information that is powerful - substantively and aesthetically.
Role
At its best, I believe that the reflective practice at the core of thoughtful evaluation has the power to help organizations, projects, and individuals accelerate their growth and expand their impact. As part of the Apex evaluation team, I'm excited to support our clients as they develop a deeper understanding of their programs, their communities, and their results. I bring a wide range of experiences with education and evaluation to this role, having worked with stakeholders from a variety of settings including school districts, departments of education, elected offices, advocacy organizations, and direct service groups. My most gratifying projects to date have led to improvements in state-level reading policies; increased insights into national, community impact initiatives; and more inclusive practices in a large, Washington, DC-based philanthropy.
I am passionate about creating software systems that meet the needs of today and are flexible and extendable to meet the changing needs of tomorrow.

As Chief Technology Officer, I am helping Apex extend its software platform capability to meet the needs of future growth and volume. Taking a component approach to the system architecture will allow a more granular and robust ability to scale and provide more flexibility as business needs change over time. I strive to bring thoughtful, high quality, and rigorous software engineering to meet business needs.

I joined Apex as an Evaluator in January 2022. Building on my experiences in evaluation, sociology, and public health, I partner with organizations to develop frameworks and systems for the implementation and evaluation of their programs and services. I enjoy collaborating with stakeholders and learning from their expertise to make sense of the data and uncover meaningful insights.

- Evaluation Program Manager
Role
As the Evaluation Program Manager, I get to collaborate on evaluation studies with our team of evaluators and provide evaluation design and implementation guidance. Together, we also advance evaluation methodology and continue to hone the craft of applying the Apex Blend. The best aspect of my job is the collective learning we do about what makes evaluation equitable and how to make it work across sectors and problems, so that it helps improve lives.
Role
I joined Apex as an Evaluator in November 2020. My evaluation practices take a collaborative approach that is mindful of context and history and seek to clarify the world around us. For me, evaluation is all about turning data into understanding how things work and guiding practical change that betters people, organizations, and communities.

Role
As Strategic Support Manager, my role is to guide projects from their beginnings as a proposal through the handoff to the project team with a lens on improving the process along the way. I am the navigator, guiding and showing the way to the end goal. I also assist with documenting and improving our current processes with the help of our partners and Apex staff as we constantly evolve. I enjoy the fact that the work we do here at Apex is helping the people we work with and the communities they serve.

Working at Apex allows me to combine my mental health education, my passion for helping underserved populations, my perspective as both a clinician and a software manager, and my general technical skills and expertise.

I am very passionate about adolescent health: Their mental health, their sexual health, their physical health, and most importantly their access to the medical care they need. In my role as Evaluator, I have the privilege to work with youth-serving programs across the country where I provide assistance with program planning, development, and implementation. I enjoy teasing out trends in data and showing the impact and importance of the programs we serve. I appreciate Apex and our incredible team's commitment to equitable evaluation and our approaches to the work, ensuring our clients' and communities' stories are shared in meaningful and useful ways. I feel very lucky to be involved in the wonderful efforts our clients are pursuing to enrich the lives of our kids and communities.

In my Technical Project Coordinator role, I prioritize the user experience, such as barriers and successes when using our product. Processing this information to develop our user interface helps Apex provide the necessary support our project partners require. I enjoy solving problems, creating support systems, and exercising creativity in my daily work. Engaging with our project partners and various Apex teams is an exciting position to occupy. Role
Having previously been a Senior Evaluator at Apex for over ten years, I am fortunate to continue to collaborate with the amazing team there contributing to diverse and important projects. As a collaborator with Apex, I plan and conduct large and small-scale evaluations, providing organizational consulting and capacity-building support to clients in areas such as logic modeling, data visualization, and systems-based evaluation. I seek to engage multiple stakeholder groups in designing and conducting program evaluations that lead to program improvement and organizational capacity building.

Role
I am the Data and Compliance Specialist at Apex and I maintain HIPAA compliance through completion of audits, training, policy review and revisions, as well as data analysis and reporting for our school-based health center partners across the nation. The most rewarding part of my job with Apex is the ability to collaborate with our partners in health care whose main goal is to provide better outcomes for children and adolescents.

I am the Finance and Accounting Manager for all things Apex. I manage all the money that comes in and goes out of Apex. Along with that, I handle payroll and human resources for our employees and consultants, and help with keeping the organization running smoothly.

Highly efficient teams require collaboration, trust, and solid support structures. As COO, I develop, implement and refine processes to support our staff, build trust and encourage collaboration. Leaning on a strong foundation of project management experience, I take an overarching view of client projects to ensure that expectations are clear, milestones are met, and plans are in place to support successful delivery. I support business and organizational development by providing mechanisms to increase efficacy, assess capacity, and strengthen relationships.
