Chin Chin is a practitioner in mergers and acquisitions, take-overs, equity capital markets, corporate real estate, joint ventures, commercial contracts and general corporate advisory.
Chin Chin has been involved in a broad range of corporate work and has, amongst others, advised financial institutions, insurance companies (general, life and takaful), manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and speciality traders, logistics, travel and leisure operators and renewable energies companies on their mergers and acquisitions transactions. She has also advised on matters pertaining to the privatisation of companies via selective capital reduction, take-overs, acquisition of assets and transfer of listing status. Further, she has advised in the debt restructuring of numerous corporations via schemes of arrangements. In the equity capital markets space, she has acted for both issuers and underwriters in several initial public offerings and in the rights issue of shares and/or warrants of public listed companies.
Chin Chin is an independent non-executive director of Well Chip Group Sdn Bhd and serves as the Chairman of its Nomination Committee and also as a member of its Audit and Risk Management Committee and Rumuneration Committee.

Dato' Low Chee Choon was admitted to the Bar of England & Wales (Inner Temple) in 1969 and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 1972. He has been recognised as a leading individual in Malaysia in the area of Banking and Finance by The Legal 500.
Dato' Low started his legal career as a legal assistant with Messrs Ariffin & Ooi from 1972 to 1974 and was a partner there from 1974 to 1975. He is a founding partner of our firm.
Dato' Low's vast amount of experience includes finance work such as syndications, project financing, capital market financing, structured financing, cross-border financing, financial leasing, Islamic financing, corporate work such as privatisations, restructuring, schemes of arrangements and joint ventures and asset swaps. He has been a consultant to our firm since 2015 and remains much sought after for his technical knowledge, skill and experience.
Role
Debbie oversees all the administrative and management functions of the firm, including our financial, operational and IT requirements. She also acts as the firm's liaison with the Bar Council and with firms whom we have an affiliation or an alliance with. Debbie also focuses on exploring ways to enhance the practice of the firm including enhancing our efficiency and overall capability and formulating our business strategies.
Experience
Debbie was a practicing solicitor for almost 20 years and was a partner with a well-known commercial law firm for 13 years. In 2015, she co-founded, and became the chief operating officer of, Projek57 - an award-winning accredited social enterprise, focused on nation building. She has been our chief operating officer since April 2022.

Kelvin oversees the computer system operations of the firm. His primary responsibilities revolve around monitoring the performance of all software and hardware, installing servers, configuring systems, and ensuring all technical aspects are running smoothly.

Kelvin has been in the IT field for almost 22 years, and has managed IT infrastructure on premise as well as at a data centre prior to joining the firm in 2019.

Role
Yoke Fung manages all the firm's office functions and maintains office services by organising procedures, personnel and operations including overseeing clerical procedures and office supply requisitions. She reports directly to our Chief Operating Officer and assists her in liaising with the Bar Council particularly in relation to the renewal of practicing certificates for our lawyers.
Experience
Yoke Fung has been assisting the firm's Partner in Charge of Administration in all administrative matters since 2005, and was promoted in 2014 to the role of Office Manager and was redesignated as Head of Administration in 2021. She has more than 18 years' work experience in office administration, supplier negotiation, training admin personnel, recruitment, HR management, and team management.

Sim Yi is actively involved in the acquisition and disposal of various types of real property, leases and tenancies, joint venture arrangement involving real property, property development and sale and purchase of shares in real property companies where she advises listed companies, developers, real estate investment trusts and foreign investors.
In respect of her civil aviation experience, she advises foreign financial institutions and owners/lessors of aircraft in aircraft financing and leasing transactions, including transactions which are structured through Labuan entities. She deals with the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia and the Labuan Financial Services Authority for regulatory matters in connection with the civil aviation work undertaken by her.
Sim Yi also advises local financial institutions for corporate banking matters and often acts as Malaysian counsel for foreign financial institutions.

Role
Yap manages and monitors the day-to-day financial operations of the firm including preparation of the financial reports, expenditure budgets and other accounting reports. He also oversees the accounting and data integrity in the reporting systems of the firm and ensures the procedures and reporting are carried out in accordance with generally accepted accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
Experience
He has more than 20 years' experience in finance and accounting. As an accounts graduate, he worked for several companies in the retail, construction, and property development sectors, prior to joining the firm in 2010.
