Marija Petkovic is the Founder and Managing Director of Energy Synapse. Marija is a leading expert in wholesale electricity markets and has worked internationally across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. Marija is known for her deep expertise in predictive modelling of energy markets, as well as industry leadership in battery storage and demand response. Marija is also highly skilled in commercial arrangements, having successfully negotiated a $1 billion clean energy deal in New York. Marija is a highly sought after industry expert, having advised some of the biggest ASX listed companies as well as state and federal government bodies. You will see her speaking regularly at major energy conferences and providing commentary in media such as ABC News, Sydney Morning Herald, RenewEconomy, and Ecogeneration. Marija holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering) (Hons I) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Sydney.
