HBI TAX - Key Persons
Matt has been in public accounting since 1997, after graduating magna cum laude from Warner University with an additional fifth year of accounting from Florida Southern College. He qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in March 2002. Over the years, Matt has gained extensive experience in U.S. and international tax planning for US businesses and foreign investors. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his family at church activities, traveling the US with his nationally recognized Motocross Team (HBI Racing, LLC), and exploring the outdoors.
A native Floridian, Steve's been in public accounting since 2004. He has considerable experience working with individuals, corporations, and small businesses, as well as nonresident individuals and foreign corporations investing in US property and businesses. Prior to this, he worked in management for more than 12 years at several large corporations. Steve earned a BS in Accounting from Webber International University, in addition to a BA in Biblical Studies from Toccoa Falls College. He spends his free time with his two sons, enjoying the outdoors, cheering on his boys at their sporting events, and being involved in his local church.
