HEALTH WORKFORCE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CENTER

HWTAC is based at the Center for Health Workforce Studies (CHWS) at the College of Integrated Health Sciences, University at Albany, State University of New York. HWTAC is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Health Resources and Services Administration in the US Department of Health and Human Services... Our strength at HWTAC is our experience and knowledge about health workforce research. We offer a wide array of technical expertise to support health workforce planning at many levels. HWTAC's staff has a history of working with states and organizations to address data and analytic needs in health workforce planning. HWTAC also serves a critical support role for stakeholders in the health services research community and functions as an important extension of NCHWA.
