INCYCLE - Key Persons

Cami Rodriguez

Health and fitness are incredibly important to Cami. Originally a marathon runner, she started indoor cycling after a friend invited her to take a class-and was instantly hooked. It became her go-to workout after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2010, and she attributes much of the stability in her condition to being an avid cyclist. As an instructor, Cami wants her riders to get a kick-butt workout while escaping life's everyday challenges. She is passionate about self care and aims to make every ride an opportunity to focus on mental and physical well-being. She has been teaching cycle and fitness classes for 7 years at various studios. Cami and her family recently moved from Chicago to the Carmel area.Outside the studio, Cami is a wife, a mother of two kids and three cats. She previously worked as an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist and Professor of Psychology at Elmhurst College and Aurora University for the past 10 years.

With a background in Dance, I fell in love with the beat of the music and endorphin high you achieve in Indoor Cycling! It was only natural to me to help others feel that connection of Mind and Body! I obtained Mad Dogg Cert 18 years ago and it has been a joy ride ever since! My goal is to give every rider the coaching to feel their personal best in class. Whether it be a sweat fest or a mental reprieve from the stress in their life, I want them to feel that physically and mentally they have Conquered and are the better for it!

I am your cycle music Guru! I believe that music is your motivator to work through your challenges, move your body and strengthen your soul! I put time and effort into every playlist and my songs will keep you moving, singing and sweating! You will leave my class thinking "wow, working out CAN be fun"! I bring over 20 years of group fitness and cycling experience to my class. I found my love of fitness in College (Ball State…chirp, chirp..Go Cards!). I helped start their group fitness program while getting my Bachelor's degree and have been teaching ever since. If you are looking for a class with great music, high energy and lots of themes - I am your gal! When not in the studio rockin it out on the bike, I stay busy with my three kids and husband - who often make an appearance in my classes. Be the role model because YOU can and because YOU care! #rideon!

I have had a love fitness my entire life and it has always been a dream to share my enthusiasm and passion with others. After becoming certified as a personal trainer and group fitness/cycling instructor, I hit the ground running! In addition to cycling, I am a boot camp instructor with a focus on cardiovascular conditioning and strength training. I bring a little of that intensity (in a FUN way) to every class! I truly believe if a workout doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you. I love to hear from my class participants that they notice they are capable of pushing so much harder than they thought they ever could and that they feel stronger in not just their lower body, but their upper body too. My music is a mix of everything - some oldies, hip hop, rock and pop. You are bound to hear a song that motivates and pushes you. Try my class, find your challenge and make the changes that motivate you to jump on the bike and RIDE!

I have been teaching indoor cycling for ten years and have been with InCycle since the day the doors opened. I am also a personal trainer and bring my knowledge of sculpting the body to the bike. For me, cycling is about two things: rhythm and cadence. Without them, it is work and work is the last thing I want you to think of when you are in my class. Come ride with me and I will take you on a 60 minute journey of FUN, rhythm and the best variety of music in Naptown. My playlists offer some old, some new and maybe even a few you never knew. You are in control of your effort and your resistance - I just suggest you "give it a bump" now and then. You will get the best caloric burn without any pounding and maybe even burn 1000 calories while we dial it up and tune in for an hour together.

I stepped into my first cycle class about 10 years ago and from that moment on I was hooked! The music and atmosphere were exhilarating. I left dripping in sweat, yet felt absolutely amazing. Since that day, I teach and take classes every chance I get. I am an American Council on Exercise Group Fitness Instructor with additional training from Schwinn, Keiser and Mad Dogg Athletics. When I am not teaching, I love anything outdoors from hiking to sand volleyball. Come ride with me and we will have a fantastic time getting stronger together!

I have loved fitness my entire life and found my passion for cycling in 2013 after completing my first triathlon. After receiving my spinning certification from Mad Dogg, I started teaching cycling classes at DePauw University. I love cycling both outdoors and inside and use my indoor cycling training to boost my strength on the road. I am also an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, an avid Triathlete and completed by first Ironman 70.3 this year in June (2019)!! I absolutely love the group energy of working out with others and can't wait to share that energy with you!

Cycle is a huge passion of mine! After being side-lined with an injury 4 years ago I couldn't do my regular workout and ended up in a cycle class. From that day on I was hooked! I couldn't get enough! The music, energy, and work out! I ended up taking 2 classes a day! My goal is to move as much as possible each day. My life revolves around fitness and has since high school. I'm a certified personal trainer/group fitness instructor and started teaching cycle last year. I love motivating people to better themselves to grow stronger and more confident. I'm constantly on the lookout for new songs…anything goes! I try to make each playlist a mix of every genre so everyone will find something they like. I think of cycling as dancing on a bike to music. SO MUCH FUN!!!! I love that going to work doesn't feel like work…I'm truly getting paid to do what I love! Each class inspires me as I watch everyone increasing their fitness levels and just the joy of movement. When I'm not teaching I'm working out, walking (up to 13 miles a day), and hanging with friends and family.

I started the Gospel Ride in Central Indiana in 2016 and life hasn't been the same since! I enjoy teaching indoor cycling and bring energy to each class that is addicting and motivational. My rides feature amazing high energy playlists and include 25 to 40 intervals. I love the excitement and energy of a full class and take pride in seeing people reach their exercise goals while having an enjoyable time. When you come to my class, get ready to work, have fun and be inspired! My other hobbies include outdoor cycling, golf and an occasional game of morning basketball. I am married with 2 adult sons. My wife Angela, of 30 years, will be in the front row waiting to greet and welcome you to the class. I am a certified Cycling Instructor through Mad Dogg Athletics.
