From Cornwall, England to Madrid, Spain, long time club member Andy Rodker shared his love for nature and his kind heart with all of us on ipernity.
Friend to so many of us here, Andy loved to take long walks and show us how nature inspired him.
Bob, a club member of ipernity for many years, passed away in November, 2023. Bob led a very well rounded life including literary art, music, mountains, and family. He came to photography after retirement, seldom seen without a camera around his neck and his lenses taking up home among his fiddles and books in his study.
Bob will be remembered for many things, including his humble generosity and the detailed beauty of the natural world in his photographs. He often including the details of his camera settings with his photos. His generosity also extended to his allowing anyone to download and use his photographs. Bob's ipernity account remains with that allowance.
I came here to post about him, but am happy to see you already have, David. I have thought about "spacemouses" on occasion after his death. His photos were so beautiful and his cats were a delight! He was such an interesting man., an American of Irish descent from Kentucky (was it?) who had moved back to his ancestral land late in life. He lived in near-complete solitude. It's very sad to see that his Page is wiped from Ipernity, as his photography was beautiful. Oh well, even our photo pages die, don't they?
Long time club member Eve Chartier was a friend to many here on ipernity and her love of nature shown through to us in her numerous flower photos.
Marta is the reason I am part of the ipernity community, as we knew each other from Flickr. Others were inviting me, but it was Mart who twisted my arm, so to speak. She was often on the forum there debating, always a voice of reason. I asked Marta to help me close some loop holes in learning my family tree / pedigree in Europe, because I knew that she was expert in cyber security and taught it at university. Well, in about two hours she came back with documentation of my family lineage back to the 1900's, and my family migration to America. The personality portrait of her for this memorial is very fitting, because I think it shows her attention to details, which was very much Marta in everything, even with her Catholic faith and praying, you can see this in her pictures. She was always very nice to me, yet very intentional and specific, not interested in bringing attention to herself. May she rest in peace.
Jenny McIntyre, ipernity club member since 2013, died in 2023 after a short illness. Jenny was a friend to many both on ipernity and off. She captured her love of flowers in both her photographs and in her artistic creations of pendants.
Marta's father is gone and her mother passed away a few days after Marta. Marta honored both of them here on ipernity:

Steve Dumpleton, passionate musician and photographer died in 2021 while
out walking in the Limb Valley in Sheffield, a placed he loved taking
pictures of so much.

Long time club member Thomas Kauroff was a world traveller. He had a very good eye for details, composition, arrangements and lines. From nature to towering buildings, his vision helped us keep a fresh eye on the world around us.
