Andrew Stobie

Stobie holds the degrees of Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science from the University of Adelaide. He has been a lawyer since 1990 and was called to the Queensland Bar in 2000. Stobie has practised in civil litigation in all of the major Queensland Courts and Tribunals. The larger part of his practice involves claims for personal injury, in which he has experience for a wide range of clients and to appellate level. He is a contributor to the Personal Injury Manual Queensland (Thomson Lawbook Co).

Anna Bratti

Anna commenced practice at the private bar in 2020 and practices primarily in equity, trusts, succession and guardianship. Anna frequently appears in the Supreme Court, District Court and QCAT, and provides advice, on a variety of matters, including: applications for probate of lost and informal wills; applications for limited and urgent grants of representation; applications for the removal of executors; applications for judicial advice; applications for statutory wills; applications by personal representatives, trustees and attorneys for judicial advice and directions; guardianship and powers of attorney disputes; probate disputes; and family provision applications. While Anna specialises in equity, trusts, succession and guardianship, she has also acted in commercial disputes and administrative law proceedings. Prior to being called to the bar, Anna worked as principal legal officer at the Public Trustee and as a solicitor for eight years, in each case practicing primarily in equity, trusts, succession and guardianship. Anna holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland.

Chris Templeton

Chris graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2011 with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons). Prior to being called to the Bar in 2015, Chris practised as a solicitor with Rodgers Barnes and Green Lawyers from 2012 to 2015. Chris undertakes a broad range of civil work, with a particular focus on commercial disputes.

Nathan Shaw

Nathan has a general commercial practice with particular experience in financial services, Corporations Act litigation and personal and corporate insolvency. He has experience in litigation in all Australian States.

Paul O'Brien

Paul commenced practice at the Queensland bar in 2012 and has a broad commercial practice. He was admitted as a solicitor in Queensland in 1997 and as a solicitor in England in 2001. Before coming to the bar, Paul worked as a solicitor in practice and as an in-house solicitor working in Australia, London and Hong Kong. He has advised on disputes in the Australian, US, English and Hong Kong courts and on financial services and regulatory matters across Asia/Pacific. He has published several articles covering insolvency and banking practice. Steven Hogg

Steven was called to the Bar in 2011. He has a general commercial practice with particular emphasis on corporate, property, building and construction and contract disputes. Before coming to the Bar he worked as a solicitor in the areas of general commercial and insurance litigation. Steven was Associate to His Honour Justice Fryberg in 2006.

Tom Duhig

Tom commenced practice at the Bar in October 2022. He has a broad commercial practice in all State and Federal Courts, and has experience in contracts, taxation, insolvency and property disputes, as well as disputes in voluntary associations and sporting clubs. Prior to coming to the Bar, Tom was a solicitor for four years practising in commercial and tax litigation. In 2018 Tom was the Associate to his Honour Judge AJ Rafter SC.
