Until 2016, he served as the Head of the Andrology Unit at the Urology Department of the Virgen del Rocío Hospital. A position he left to focus on his work in the private domain which included being the Head of Andrology at the NISA Sevilla Aljarafe Hospital and other Reproduction Units. In addition to serving as Head of the Andrology Service of Clínica de Fátima, some of his other notable roles include; National Andrology Coordinator of the Spanish Association of Urology (AEU) between 2012-2016, former Secretary-General of the ESSM (European Society for Sexual Medicine) and member of several International Committees of Sexual Medicine such as the Educational Committee of the European Society and the International Society for Sexual Medicine. Natalio Cruz is a recipient of the Extraordinary Bachelor's Degree Award from the University of Córdoba, a Specialist in Urology with his MIR Training done at the Virgen del Rocío Hospital in Seville, and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Seville.
He has over 20 years of experience in Urology, Andrology, Genital Reconstructive Surgery, and Sexual Medicine. Since 1992, he has focused more on these domains, having acquired expert training at the Hospital La Paz in Madrid, the Puigvert Foundation in Barcelona and Boston University Medical Center (USA) among others.
