Founded in 1988 by Founding Producer Monica Sullivan, "Shoestring Radio Theatre" is at the forefront of a growing movement to keep the art of radio drama alive for future generations. The independent troupe, which is based in San Francisco, California, draws on a talented pool of playwrights from around the world and actors to create and perform its productions... We are a non-profit radio production company. Our long-running, internationally-syndicated program "Shoestring Radio Theatre" offers original radio dramas in all genres. From 1991 to 2022, we also produced "Movie Magazine International" which featured movie reviews, interviews and more... Each episode of Shoestring Radio Theatre premieres first here on our web site. Each week we spotlight a classic Movie Magazine International episode.
