SKIPTON CYCLING CLUB

Welcome to Skipton Cycling Club. We are a road cycling club that was set up in 2012. We are a small friendly club run by volunteers and a committee. Our aim is to offer organised group bike rides together in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and beyond. We have a number of different rides through the week, on a Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday. Plus in the evening on a Monday and Wednesday, the ladies only ride is on a Thursday. We organise ourselves with a voluntary ride leader who chooses the route, and ensures that nobody gets dropped, we regroup regularly. We stop at a cafe on the longer rides and sometimes a cake or 2 at the end! We usually cycle about 50 miles on a Saturday and Wednesday and maybe 25-30 the other times.
