Richard Janiak '68 spent more than 50 years with Citigroup and a predecessor firm, Smith Barney. He held several positions in investment banking, including spending three years in Tokyo running Smith Barney's Japanese operations, spending two years in Paris working with European clients; and serving as co-head of the firm's Investment Banking Division for several years. Following the merger of Smith Barney and Salomon Brothers in 1997, Richard was made Head of the firm's International Private Client Group. Subsequent responsibilities during his career included being Chair of Citi's Global Retail Distribution Product Approval Committee; Global Head of Investment Products Risk; membership on the Global Investment Committee of Citigroup Private Bank; and Co-Chair of Citigroup's Global Equity and Global Fixed Income Commitment Committees, which committees review for approval new capital markets products for distribution through the firm's investment distribution channels. In addition to serving on the Smeal College of Business Board of Visitors, Richard's previous board memberships include Genesis Energy, LP, a publicly traded master limited partnership; Mayflower Group, a transportation and moving company; Fubon Securities Co. in Taipei, Taiwan; KEB-Smith Barney Securities in Seoul, Korea; Sooditic Finance in Geneva, Switzerland; and A Better Chance, a non-profit organization assisting children of color in the pursuit of education. Brian Cameron, associate dean for professional graduate programs and executive education, is responsible for leading the design and implementation of a new portfolio of online and resident professional master's programs and graduate certificates. He oversees all professional graduate programs and executive education within the Smeal College, including the Penn State Smeal MBA, Smeal Executive MBA Program, Smeal Executive DBA, a portfolio of one-year residential master's programs and online master's and graduate certificates. Brian Cameron is the Associate Dean for Professional Graduate Programs and Executive Education in the Smeal College of Business at the Pennsylvania State University. Prior to joining Smeal, he was the Founding Director of the Center for Enterprise Architecture in the College of Information Sciences and Technology. Dr. Cameron was awarded the NPA Career Achievement Award in 2011 for efforts related to the founding of the Federation of Enterprise Architecture Professional Organizations, the building of the Center for Enterprise Architecture, and associated service to the enterprise architecture profession. In his current role as Associate Dean for Professional Graduate Programs and Executive Education, Dr. Cameron led the rapid growth of the Smeal professional graduate portfolio from the four master's programs and one online graduate certificate, representing approximately 300 students, in 2015 to an integrated portfolio of 17 masters programs, an Executive Doctor of Business Administration, and 14 online graduate certificates representing over 2,600 students. Professional master's programs include inter-college collaborations with several Penn State colleges and campuses. Dr. Cameron is leading the design and implementation of many organizational and pedagogical innovations that includes an integrated professional graduate portfolio that facilitates degree stacking and a high degree of choice and flexibility for students. He led the formation of new faculty and departmental governance, compensation, and budgeting structures for professional graduate education. Dr. Cameron is leading a marketing strategy initiative, in collaboration with Smeal marketing, to better position the evolving portfolio of professional graduate programs in the increasingly competitive marketplace. He has reorganized the MBA program office structure to create a professional graduate education programs office that provides shared services across programs. Shared services include recruiting/marketing, admissions, advising, student organizations, diversity, mentoring, tutoring, career services, employer relations, and alumni services. Part of this restructuring included the creation of a Director of Excellence in Teaching & Learning for the professional graduate portfolio to oversee many dimensions of quality related to growth and scaling, curriculum improvement, and faculty development. Dr. Cameron is in the process of reorganizing and integrating the non-credit Penn State Executive Education unit with the Smeal professional graduate programs office and is currently leading a team researching innovative pedagogical approaches for online and hybrid graduate professional education and non-credit executive education. Dr. Cameron was appointed to the Transforming Education Task Force for the Future of Online Learning and World Campus and was selected to attend the Big 10 Academic Alliance's Academic Leadership Program in 2018. His work has been the topic of several articles in BizEd, the publication of AACSB, the international business school accreditation body. He is very active in the professional graduate education community and is a founding member of the Consortium for Online Graduate Business Education and serves on the boards of the MBA Roundtable, the Executive MBA Council, and the Business Architecture Guild. In this role, Woods oversees all actuarial functions across Prudential, and reports to the Board on actuarial matters. She also serves as the appointed actuary with Prudential Insurance Company of America. Previously, Woods served as vice president and chief actuary of Prudential's International Insurance from 2013 to 2017. Her actuarial oversight responsibilities included working with Prudential Financial's international insurance operations on a variety of actuarial and financial matters. She also served on the Board of Directors of DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance, Prudential's joint venture in India. From 2010 to 2012, Woods was vice president and actuary in Corporate Actuarial, where her primary responsibilities were corporate oversight of the actuarial aspects of GAAP reporting and pricing of insurance products. She also served as the Appointed Actuary for Pruco Life Insurance Company and Pruco Reinsurance. Before joining Corporate Actuarial, Woods led the Actuarial Financial Reporting and Life MIS units in Individual Life, where she was responsible for reserve valuation and DAC reporting, reinsurance administration, actuarial infrastructure development, and Life MIS reporting. Prior assignments included responsibility for Individual Life pricing, experience assumption analysis and financial modeling. Woods joined Prudential in 1982, as a participant of the Actuarial Leadership Development Program. After a series of rotational assignments in both Individual Life and Group Life and Health, she attained her Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries (FSA) in 1988. Prior to joining Marriott in December 2002, Mr. Berquist was a partner at Arthur Andersen LLP. Charles H. Whiteman, who has more than 32 years of experience in higher education and business, assumed the leadership position at the Penn State Smeal College of Business in 2012. He oversees all aspects of one of the largest business schools in the nation. Prior to joining Penn State, he was senior associate dean for the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. Whiteman holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Kansas. He has conducted research that has been supported by a number of grants from the National Science Foundation, published dozens of academic papers, written two books, and served as associate editor of several economics journals. He has also advised the state of Iowa's Department of Management on economic issues and served as a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Banks of Kansas City, Atlanta, Cleveland, and Minneapolis.

Hintz, Jr. '59 is president of Hintz Capital Management, a private money-management firm. Hintz served as past chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Pennsylvania State University. In 1982, he was named Alumni Fellow by Smeal College and in 1987 was honored as a Distinguished Alumnus of Penn State. He is past president of the Penn State Development Council and the Smeal Alumni Society Board of Directors. He served as chair of the Grand Destiny Campaign for Penn State. Hintz and his wife, Helen, made several gifts to that campaign, including the naming gift for the Hintz Family Alumni Center and creating the Edward R. and Helen Skade Hintz International Scholars Program at the Smeal College. They provided the endowment which supports the Presidential Leadership Academy. Hintz received a bachelor of science in finance from Smeal in 1959. He also earned an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business in 1963.

He formerly was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since joining the Stoneridge, Inc. in January 2006. Stoneridge is recognized as a leading independent designer and manufacturer of highly engineered electrical and electronics components, modules and systems principally for the automotive, medium and heavy-duty truck, agricultural and off-highway vehicle markets. Mr. Strickler retired from Stoneridge, Inc. April 30, 2018. Mr. Strickler was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with Republic Engineered Products, Inc., North America's leading supplier of special bar quality steel, a highly engineered product used in axles, drive shafts, suspension rods and other critical components of automobiles, off-highway vehicles and industrial equipment. David Rogers, '78, '80 M.B.A. earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Penn State in 1978 and an MBA in 1980. He started his career as a financial analyst at Mobil Oil. Mr. Rogers later accepted a position as trader and analyst with Goldman Sachs, eventually becoming co-head of Goldman Sachs's equity derivatives department in 1992 and a partner in the firm. He left Goldman Sachs in 2001 to start his own investment firm. J.D. Capital Management is a private investment portfolio, structured as a limited partnership, open to accredited investors. Mr. Rogers received the MBA Alumni Distinguished Achievement Award in 1995 and was named an Alumni Fellow in 2000. He and his wife, Tricia ('79), endowed the David and Tricia Rogers MBA Fellowship. This award is given to recognize a Penn State faculty or staff member who has contributed to the University by improving cross-cultural understanding. Their product helps their customer's obligations on carbon emission reductions. Mr. Reeves helped the company, which originated from an MBA project by its founders, build financial and other business processes and succeeded in helping the company go public on the NYSE as well as access the public debt markets. The company's access to public capital markets was the first of its kind in the industry. Prior to Enviva, Mr. Reeves spent fifteen years at The Black & Decker Corporation, a global producer of power tools, in several finance positions including as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Centennial, Troy was the Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Experian and led the company's U.S. expansion. His primary responsibility was leading the team that managed the company's 30 largest most strategic accounts in the US. In addition, he served on the executive team to create and implement sales and marketing strategies across the company. Prior to joining Experian, Troy was a Group President at Verizon Enterprise Services unit, a subsidiary of Verizon Inc. where he led a team of 2000 personnel directing a $4B revenue responsibility including sales integration, driving strategic services into the core accounting teams and business plans, and building a solid consulting organization. Under Troy's leadership, Verizon Enterprise Services integrated all its strategic business units (IT Services, cybersecurity, Unified communications and consulting) into a strategic go-to-market organization across the world. His final assignment at Verizon was leading the SLED US team. This consisted of 250+ sales support and operations personnel responsible for managing over 29,000 public sector clients and $1.5B in annual revenue. Troy began his career in the communications and IT industry after completing his bachelor's degree and MBA at the Pennsylvania State University. He played football while attending PSU and was a member of the 1986 National Championship team. He currently serves on the Smeal College of Business- Board of Visitors, Lastly, he will serve as Co-chair of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Ryan Kerrigan Golf Tournament.
