In Fall 1996, the Center began publishing Texas Books in Review, a biannual journal on Texas books and the Texas literary scene, previously edited at Tarleton State University and at the University of North Texas. Texas Books in Review is now an online journal that monitors the literary production of books about Texas, providing rich reviews about contemporary publications across diverse fields and genres.
