Alan Campbell

Alan Campbell is a partly retired business man who sold his freight and logistics business in 2007. Alan is involved in property development and management, he is committed to help and assist Kilcreggan Homes Ltd expand their much sought after services for adults with Learning Disability. Alan has been married to Mary for over 40 years and they have three sons and one daughter Julie.

Angela Brown

Job Titles:
  • Day Opportunities Manager
Angela has been working at Kilcreggan Homes from 2012. Angela began as a student while studying a Level 5 HND in Health and Social Care Practices. Angela then worked for 4 years as a Support Worker before becoming Senior Support Worker in 2016. Angela has recently progressed to Day Opportunities Manager within the organisation. Angela works within this role across the whole organisation but mainly focuses on the work at the Farm, Cafe, Garden Centre, Drop In services and MUS. Angela recently completed her Level 5 Leadership and Management. In her personal life, Angela enjoys spending time in the countryside with her family and friends. Angela is currently on maternity leave.

Bill Bennett

I am a retired former chairman of a construction business involved in commercial and housing contracts. My interests include gardening, hill walking and rugby. I am delighted to be involved in Kilcreggan Homes.

Claire Berry

Job Titles:

Claire has been working at Kilcreggan from 2017. Claire began her journey at Kilcreggan as a support worker and progress to a level 2 support worker before taking on the role as Day Opportunities Manager. Claire works within this role across the whole organisation but mainly focuses on the work at the Farm, Cafe, Garden Centre, Drop In services and MUS.

Damian Cassidy

Job Titles:

Damian has been involved with people who have Learning Disabilities and Autism for thirty years. He is a qualified nurse and social worker, specialising on people who have a learning disability. He had experience in nursing, social work, day services and supported employment prior to taking up the post of leading Kilcreggan Homes. In his role of managing Kilcreggan Homes, he has over seen the growth and development of the organisation. In his personal life Damian is married and has three children. He also continues to have a successful career in his chosen sport.

Dr Norman Walker

Dr Norman Walker is a retired General Medical Practicitioner. He has been involved in community service for many years and presently serves on the board of St John Ambulance NI as Lead Trustee Volunteering. He is married and has 4 sons. His interests include walking, gardening, watching Ulster Rugby and playing golf (on flat, treeless courses!).

Ernie Spence - Treasurer

Ernie has served on the committee since 2003. Having worked in the private sector running a supplies business he moved into the voluntary sector in 1994 when he set up a business services social economy project for adults with Learning Disabilities. He moved into self-employment in 2008 as a marketing consultant. During his time on the committee he has migrated the financial systems from being paper based to electronic.

Jillian Gillispie

John Kelly

John joined the team at Kilcreggan homes in March of 2018. John, prior to this was a student studying and completing a Counselling and communication course at the University of Ulster Jordanstown. John worked for two years at Kilcreggan Homes in Carrickfergus between Supported Living and the Urban Farm as a support worker. After this successful spell, John took upon the lead role of co-ordinator at our new site in the Magherafelt area in March of 2020. In his personal life John enjoys partaking in team sports such as Gaelic and Soccer as well as spending time with friends and family.

Jolene Courtney-Rowlands

Jolene joined the team at Kilcreggan Homes in 2015 after many years of working in Nursing enviroments. After a change in career, Jolene progressed to a Base Co-ordinator in the Drop In Centre in Larne. Jolene then became Senior Support Worker in 2018 based in Carrickfergus where she works throughout the organisation but mainly focuses on working in partnership with our staff and tenants on our main site. In Jolene's personal life, she lives with her daughter and enjoys visiting her family in England and going on holidays.

Oscar Donnelly

Job Titles:

  • Fellow of the Churchill Foundation
Oscar is Co-Chair of the Department of Health's Mental Health Strategic Advisory Panel and Chair and Regional Lead for the Northern Ireland Towards Zero Suicide, Mental Health Patient Safety Collaborative. Oscar held the position of Director of Mental Health and Disability Services in the NHSCT from April 2007 until June 2021. Prior to this he was appointed Director of Mental Health Services in the legacy Homefirst Community Trust in 2004 having previously worked in Learning Disability Services in the legacy North and West Belfast Community Trust. In 2019 Oscar became a Fellow of the Churchill Foundation supported to study mental health providers in USA and Australia who have adopted Zero Suicide approaches to patient care. Oscar is a director on the Glencraig Community Management Council.
