The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice was founded as a charitable trust in 1980 by the late Dr Anne Gilmore OBE. Our mission is to provide high quality, person-centred care for all those affected by life-limiting conditions. We receive a percentage of our funding from the NHS, and depend on voluntary donations, our fundraising events and legacies to maintain our invaluable services for the people of Glasgow... We are Glasgow's Hospice. In October 2018 we opened the doors to our new hospice based in leafy green Bellahouston Park, in the south side of Glasgow. Our new home gives us the flexibility to develop our services and allows us to offer the highest standard of care to our patients and families in an environment that looks and feels like home.
