Strange but true: our business began as a way of avoiding exam preparation. At age 14, founder Kevin Sanders was looking for creative ways to escape from revision. Teaching himself to build websites proved to be the perfect distraction.
Before long, Kevin was creating commercial sites for local clients. Right from the start, he wanted to build websites properly, with care and attention - and that motivation still drives the whole Sanders Web Works team.
After a spell honing his skills at English Heritage, Kevin had attracted enough clients to go full-time freelance. Together with partner Gemma, he traded under the name KS Web Designer.
With an ever-growing client base, it was soon time to get proper office space, build a team and to rebrand as Sanders Web Works.
Kevin is the founder and manager of Sanders Web Works Ltd. From the age of 14, when he built his first commercial websites, Kevin has been passionate about web design and what it can achieve for businesses. Kevin's professional experience began at English Heritage, where he worked in several roles, including Web Designer. In 2013, he started his own web design and management company, and this experience often proves useful when clients need business guidance.
Kevin balances running his business with raising his two small children and has acquired an encyclopaedic knowledge of Peppa Pig.
