I have a master's degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Family Psychology from the University of St. Thomas. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Minnesota (license number 2426). I am also licensed in Massachusetts (license number 1850-MH-MF), Texas (license number 204912), Virginia (License number 0717002050) and New York (license number 002188)... My career as a helping professional began in 2005 as a hospice social worker in Duluth, Minnesota. After moving to Minneapolis in 2008, I worked as a hospital social worker in the ICU. I later worked as a social worker for inpatient palliative care. During graduate school, I had internships with the Minneapolis Public School-School Based Clinic Program providing counseling to adolescents, as well as with Hoy and Associates providing in-home family therapy to high needs children and their families.
