At Advancing The Seed, our mission is to empower under-resourced individuals and communities through accessible training, technology, and economic opportunity... We are a social enterprise training, development, and technology for good nonprofit working with underserved individuals, communities, and the nonprofits that serve them to create economic equity through access to quality training and technology resources to assist young adults, those reentering society, and other marginalized groups achieve self-sufficiency and upward mobility... It all started in 2016 with a group of 23 unemployed young adults and providing financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership development training. Since then, we have provided training resources to over 4,500 unemployed and underemployed young adults and have expanded our services to provide training and technology resources to other small capacity nonprofits serving marginalized populations.
