In the Deed of Foundation, the Founders proclaim their commitment to the protection of human rights and the prevention of genocide and mass atrocities in any area of the world... The Foundation is open, without any discrimination based on nationality or any other ground, to any international or regional organization, any state party to the UN Charter, the Government of the Republic of Hungary, any national or foreign natural or legal person or other organization who may join it by way of financial or other contribution or pledge, if it accepts the aims and the rules of the Foundation... In order to accomplish the purposes and the tasks of the Foundation, the Founders decided to establish a Centre in Budapest.
