Camo's Bistro is located in the heart of Caherciveen, on the world famous ‘Ring of Kerry'. Chef Rory McCarthy has over twenty years experience in catering and is the 3th generation in a family with proud tradition of crating and serving culinary delights and using only the finest locally sourced produce... My Grandfather James Devane earned the nickname ‘Camo' due to his calm demeanor in life. It did not take long for "Camo" to become the family name!! within the town. My Grandmother Hanna ran a vegetable and grocery shop. However it was my mother Mary (camo) McCarthy who first introduce the idea of hot food. Mary Camo started serving soup sandwiches and boiled crubeens after the dances in the 70s & 80s .
