DONZ

The Defence of New Zealand Study Group (DONZ) is a non-profit membership-based organisation that publishes research on NZ military history, runs field trips to sites of interest, and lobbies for military heritage protection. Formed in 1996, it is co-ordinated by Peter DF Cooke (BA Hons) in Wellington. DONZ publishes a regular journal Forts & Works (full colour, A4, usually 24pp). Subscriptions to DONZ are $25 - NZ currency for people in NZ, AUD currency for people in Australia and USD currency or £10/10e for all other subscribers. Each subscription includes three issues of Forts & Works, which are published approximately six months apart. Back issues are available...
