Noel Carrascal

Noel Carrascal received a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Statistics to Computational Biology from Stony Brook University in 2011. He followed that with a postdoctoral research fellowship in Genetics at Albert Einstein school of Medicine. He transition to the private sector to work in finance at Prudential in New York before moving to the San Francisco bay area in 2015. From the moment he arrived to the west coast, his focus has been on starting a company with an innovative approach to computational protein design. Noel enhanced his skill set to achieve this goal by working in different fields such as data science, intellectual property, bioinformatics, cancer diagnosis and protein design research. He used all of his accumulated experience, ideas and skills to establish Entropy Maxima, LLC, in 2018. Noel's combination of skills and well rounded background suits his entrepreneur personality. He also holds a bachelors of arts in chemistry from Stony Brook university, and a bachelors of science in computer engineering from Florida International University.
