Alana Hoyt

Alana has been with our office since 2014. She started out as our medical assistant to all our doctors. Currently, she is the practice manager for Dr. Scott Bloemendal. She has been a medical assistant going on 9 years. A native of Texas, Alana resides in Crowley with her husband and two beautiful daughters. She enjoys going to car shows with her husband and being the "Betty Crocker" of the office.

Bea Batey

Bea has been Dr. Paul Gray's office manager since November 2015, and has worked in the medical/surgical field for over twenty years. She was raised in Fort Worth and has three children and five fantastic grandkids. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Paul Gray

Paul Gray, M.D., is a general surgeon practicing in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Gray's medical journey began with the awards of full academic scholarships to attend Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he earned a Bachelor of Science, and University of Louisville School of Medicine, Kentucky, where he earned a medical degree. EDUCATION Dr. Gray completed his residency in general surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, where he received several accolades, including "Intern of the Year" and recognition for earning the top score on the program's American Board of Surgery In-service Training Examination (ABSITE). With experience across a broad range of surgery, Dr. Gray has covered multiple surgical subspecialties as a medical director and general surgery residency program director at Soddo Christian Hospital in Ethiopia, where he served as a medical missionary. He is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and previously practiced as a trauma/urgent care surgeon in Dallas. As a general surgeon, Dr. Gray is passionate about addressing a range of general surgical issues across all age groups, and takes pride in using minimally invasive surgical techniques, including DaVinci robotic assisted laparoscopy, to improve recovery time and post-operative pain. Dr. Gray has also been published in the International Journal of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology. Dr. Gray is a member of several medical groups and organizations including fellowship in the American College of Surgeons, Tarrant County Medical Society, Fort Worth Surgical Society and Christian Medical and Dental Associations. Dr. Gray is married with three children and when he isn't spending time with them or serving his patients, he enjoys reading, running and fishing.

Jessica Nymoen

Jessica is the medical assistant for Dr. Birbari, Dr. Bloemendal, and Dr. Gray. I enjoy working with surgical patients, and I hope to work in an operating room in the future. When I am not in the office, you can find me with my puppy, Zoe. I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, and country dancing.

Sofia Rivera

Sofia Rivera has worked closely with Dr. John Birbari as his practice manager for the past seven years. She enjoys working with their patients and helping them to completely understand the procedures that are scheduled for them. When not in the office, she enjoys traveling, and a beautiful beach will always call her name. She has a large extended family and enjoys time spent with them as well.
