Anthony Guccione

Mr. Guccione is an Associate Principal of the firm and a Registered Landscape Architect with experience in landscape architecture, civil engineering, roadway design, site planning, environmental analysis and related construction services. He is also recognized by the International Council of Shopping Centers as a Certified Retail Property Executive. Having joined the firm in 1990, his expertise includes site design, landscape architecture, environmental analysis, drainage design, sediment and erosion control, sanitary and storm sewer design, water supply and distribution, construction document preparation, cost estimating and construction observation. His skills also include land use entitlement and public presentations, as well as analysis and interpretation of zoning ordinances and subdivision regulations. A graduate of the College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University, Mr. Guccione holds a Bachelor's degree of Landscape Architecture. He is a Registered Landscape Architect in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio, as well as a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.

Mr. Nester is an Associate Principal of the firm and is a Registered Landscape Architect in New York and Connecticut with over 30 years experience in site planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture, hazardous waste, storage and environmental remediation. Since joining the firm in 1985, Mr. Nester's responsibilities include the supervision and conceptualization of site design and planning, site plan approval, civil engineering, construction documents, sediment and erosion control, sanitary sewer and water pump station design, drainage design, construction cost estimating, project management and quality control. He has also completed several continuing education courses in landscape architectural design, healthcare garden design certification at the Chicago Botanical Gardens, handicap acessibilty regulations, petroleum storage, construction administration, spill prevention controls and countermeasure (SPCC) planning at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, installation and removal of underground petroleum storage tanks at the University of Wisconsin and computational methods in stormwater design at Penn State. Mr. Nester is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, CLARB, International Council of Shopping Centers, American Seniors Housing Association and the Orange Country Partnership.

Diego Villareale

Mr. Villareale is an Associate Principal of the firm and a licensed Professional Engineer with experience in civil engineering, site planning, traffic engineering, highway design, environmental anlaysis and construction related services. Since joining the firm in 1998, Mr. Villareale's responsibilities include the supervision and preparation of site plan approval documents, construction documents, stormwater management and treatment systems, traffic impact studies and sewage treatment systems. He also has experience in the interpretation of Zoning Ordinances and the preparation of environmental and engineering reports as well as providing construction related services such as cost estimating, construction observation and construction administration services. A 2001 graduate of Manhattan College, Mr. Villareale holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. He is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and is currently the President of the Westchester/Putnam Chapter of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers.

James A. Ryan

Mr. Ryan is a Principal of the firm and a Registered Landscape Architect with experience in site planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering and construction management with 31 years of experience providing site development services to a wide array of national retailers, builders, senior housing providers, institutions and municipalities. Since joining the firm in 1984, Mr. Ryan has been responsible for the supervision of zoning and environmental analyses, landscape design, site planning, site grading and utility design, cost estimating, and construction observation. He has also worked extensively on behalf of several municipalities as an environmental and land planning consultant and directs presentation of projects before approval agencies and community groups. A 1980 graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Mr. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences. He has completed advanced studies in civil engineering, master planning and sediment and erosion control. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, The Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He is a Registered Landscape Architect in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Mr. Ryan also currently serves the community of Newtown, Connecticut as a member of the Conservation Commission.

Richard J. Pearson

Mr. Pearson is a Senior Associate Principal of the firm, a Licensed Professional Engineer in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Massachusetts, a licensed Traffic Engineer in California and a Certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer. He has more than 30 years of experience in civil and traffic engineering, land planning and project management. Since joining the firm in 1984, Mr. Pearson's responsibilities include supervising the preparation of traffic and parking studies, site plan approval drawings, roadway improvement and traffic signal plans. He has provided traffic and parking consultant services for various municipal planning boards for more than 15 years. He is also experienced in site development feasibility studies, zoning and subdivision regulations, environmental impact statements, site planning and engineering, sewage disposal systems, cost estimating and construction observation. He also provides expert witness testimony and related services. Mr. Pearson is a Fellow of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) and is also a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, The Urban Land Institute and The International Council of Shopping Centers. A 1982 graduate of Colorado State University, Mr. Pearson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources Management. Rob Aiello

Mr. Aiello is an Associate Principal of the firm and a Licensed Professional Engineer in 15 states with experience in site planning, civil engineering, environmental analysis and related construction services. Having joined the firm in 1993, Mr. Aiello's skills include management, coordination and scheduling of a project's approval process, site plan design, feasibility studies, layout design, grading design, water pumping and distribution systems, sewage collection systems, stormwater collection and treatment systems, and utility service design. In addition, he is responsible for the analysis and interpretation of zoning ordinances, environmental regulatory requirements and the preparation of Stormwater Management Reports and Environmental Studies. Mr. Aiello is a former President of the Westchester/Putnam Chapter of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers. He is a member of The Urban Land Institute and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers since 1991. Robert (Bob) Roth retired as a Principal of the firm in 2016, following a distinguished 42-year career in civil engineering. Mr. Roth's retirement came at a time of strength and growth for JMC, leaving behind a seasoned management team assuring continuity of the firm. JMC's unwavering commitment to customer service, coupled with expertise in all aspects of the site development process, will ensure its ongoing success and ability to handle the most complex development projects. Bob leaves a legacy of shared knowledge and experience and his philosophy of giving back, which is exemplified in the firm's involvement in the community. Bob continues to donate his time and talents and is presently serving as President of ArtsWestchester - New York State's largest private, not-for-profit service organization, working to ensure the availability and accessibility of the Arts for all of Westchester County's residents.

Thomas M. Schmidt

Mr. Schmidt is a Senior Associate Principal of the firm and Licensed Professional Land Surveyor with almost 30 years of experience in boundary, topographic, tree, wetlands, control and utility surveys, construction layout, grading and land subdivision. He has experience providing expert witness testimony in court regarding boundary line issues. Since joining the firm in 2002, Mr. Schmidt's responsibilities include the supervision, preparation and review of boundary, topographic and utility surveys, title research, subdivision plats and the preparation of easement and property descriptions. Mr. Schmidt is licensed in New York and Connecticut. He is a member of the New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyors, Connecticut Association of Land Surveyors and National Society of Professional Land Surveyors. A 1985 graduate of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse and a 1982 graduate of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Wanakena, Mr. Schmidt holds respective degrees in Natural Resources Management and Forest Technology. Mr. Schmidt continues to stay updated in the latest regulations and technology by attending continuing education courses in Property Boundary Law, Global Positional Systems (GPS), Laser Scanning and Right of Way Regulations.
