She graduated in architecture from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and earned a Master's in Urban Design from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. On a SIDA Fellowship, she further pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture and Development Studies at Lund University, Sweden.
